I Enlisted in the Army in FEB 1966, went to Vietnam in July of that year (My Asian Vacation) returning to Ft Lewis in July of 1967, where I was stationed until April of 1968, when I volunteered for a 2nd tour, I returned in late May 1968 until July 1969.

During my time there I served in:  Cam Ranh Bay, Saigon, Vung Tau, Bien Hoa, and Long Binh.

In my first tour I worked in Supply, When I returned I worked in Personnel, my duties included typing orders, court martial, eventually becoming the battalion personnel sergeant, the rising to The Group Headquarters as the Group Personnel Staff NCO, my duties included visiting and inspecting battalion personnel sections to make sure they we doing their jobs correctly, making personnel decisions on assignments, supervising 6 clerks and keeping track on their work making sure it was up to date.
