Maintained Safety for patients before, during and after Endoscopy procedures with Endoscopy team. Organized documentation consent forms, office forms, progress notes and doctor ordered discharge notes. Placed IV catheter for access to receive sedative medications. Assisted Physicians with endoscopic exams. Handled all specimens and transported to lab. Utilized computerized documentation system to monitor, record and communicate patient conditions. Operated as Preop, Procedural and PACU Endoscopy Nurse.

• Provided emergency / trauma nursing care and triage for patients of varying acuity levels for a 19 bed EMD ,treating over 36K beneficiaries annually.  Functioned as Team Lead, Charge RN and  Triage RN.  Only team member certified in Moderate Sedation to meet Commands requirement for EMD 24/7 sedation capability.  Supervised 6 RNs, 4 Hospital Corpsmen and 4 clerks every shift. Acquired BLS/ ACLS Instructor certification. Facilitated and certified over 100 providers and first responders.

• Conducted procurement of civilian personnel for appointment to officer candidate or commissioned rank or enlistment into the naval service.  Planned promotional programs to obtain required personnel.  Applied procedures for enlistment and reenlistment, dependency benefits, travel allowances, and transportation of household effects.  Provided tests and interviews.  Arranged for investigation of officer candidate applicants.  Recommended acceptance or rejection of officer candidate applicants and applicants for enlisted programs.  As required, participated in ceremonies.
• Consistently achieved recruiting accession goals 115%.  Mentored Collegiates and maintained 100% readiness with no attritions.  Coordinated and executed presentations for more than 40K members of medical /dental schools, hospitals, and associations throughout NRD Jacksonville's 52K square miles.  Managed a $10K marketing budget for the Gainesville, FL area.
  

• Served as Charge Nurse on the Cardiothoracic Telemetry Ward.  Led 11 staff in support  3,600 admission.  Cared for patients post Cath Lab in a Direct Observation Unit located within Ward. Served as Patient Safety Officer which led to 100% compliance by Joint Commission on inspection.
• Provided quality emergency care to 69,000 beneficiaries annually from 2010 to 2011.
