Head of Communications – Day Center | Intern/Volunteer
- Serve as part of the first point of contact for individuals and families reaching out to the organization for assistance.
- Listen to families’ concerns, gather information about their needs, and help identify appropriate next steps.
- Provide information about available diversion, shelter, stabilization, and housing services.
- Help connect families experiencing homelessness or housing instability with appropriate programs, resources, and referrals.
- Communicate with families in a respectful and nonjudgmental way while handling sensitive information professionally.
- Coordinate communication with staff and other service providers when additional assistance is needed.
House Director
1 Year 7 Months- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to women living in a supportive shared housing environment.
- Communicate house policies, program expectations, financial responsibilities, and other important information to residents.
- Maintain documentation related to resident concerns, payments, inspections, incidents, meetings, and program activities.
- Help residents identify resources and next steps when they are experiencing housing, financial, or personal challenges.
