• Assisted boaters in educating the boater recreation laws, focusing on the arrival and departure of a body of water.
• Helped clean and pick off vegetation as it was needed with some boaters
• Recorded interaction between myself and the boating party on the tablet for the record, which included vegetation types and a basic questionnaire.
• Presented a basic introduction to Aquatic Vegetation at Lakeside Lab and at the Blue Water Festival tent
• Assisted Mike and Jed with various tasks
o Tasks included:

- Habitat Drops
- Setting and Pulling Fyke and Hoop Nets
- Electrofishing

- Vegetation sampling with rakes
• Cleaned and Decontaminated the boats after every use
• Responsible for the AIS Trailer with charging, cleaning, and placement as needed.

• Operated and trailered a boat as needed

• Volunteered throughout my time at Iowa Lakes tracking Blanding’s turtles in support of his ongoing research project.
• Tracked and helped locate nets with a GPS device so that protection could be added.
• Utilized ArcGIS to analyze data collected from GPS units.
