Cherish McDonald

Aspiring healthcare professional with a lifelong passion for helping others—especially infants and children. Currently pursuing a position as a NICU or Pediatric CNA as the first step toward my ultimate goal of becoming a neonatologist. Ever since I was a little girl pretending to deliver babies at my grandmother’s house, I’ve dreamed of working in medicine and making a real impact in people’s lives. After losing my grandmother to colon cancer, my desire to enter the medical field grew even stronger. I am deeply fascinated by the human body and driven by a sincere love for children. My goal is to begin my healthcare journey in the NICU, where I can support the most vulnerable patients while gaining hands-on experience in a field I care deeply about. I am a hardworking and determined individual who is committed to reaching my goals. I believe that if you work hard enough and stay focused, you can achieve anything. I am deeply passionate about helping others, and my dream is to one day work in the medical field to save lives. I also have bigger goals for the future, including opening a homeless shelter and starting my own pediatric clinic to continue making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need. Every step I take is a step closer to turning these dreams into reality, and I am excited for the journey ahead. Hardworking, compassionate, and focused, I’m committed to making “little me” proud by turning childhood dreams into reality. This role as a CNA is just the beginning—each opportunity I take brings me closer to becoming a physician and building a career dedicated to care, healing, and community service.
