Working with students from grade school through undergraduates and people in their 80's has involved meeting the challenge of teaching technical skills necessary to perform through efficient, effective methods, adapting the strategies to those which best suit the age level. It includes teaching the expressive elements of music so that the performers will feel the power of music to move people.
At the college level, the courses involve teaching effective and efficient teaching strategies, the psychology of teaching and how to teach people at different ages and abilities and backgrounds.
