Review surgical documentation for completeness, verify surgical charges in alignment with procedure performed utilizing surgeon and Intra-operative documentation, work items sent to nurses for correction of missing/incorrect charges, communication with surgical management regarding unresolved work items, work in a supportive team environment.

Circulating nurse outpatient surgery. Care of patient prior to and during surgery, patient advocate. Verifying documentation such as consents, site/side marking and pre op testing completed prior to going to surgery. Surgeries to include total joint replacement of hip, knee and shoulder with use of Stryker Mako System for knee replacements. Predominantly orthopedic surgeries with some ENT procedures.

Circulating nurse for all cases handled at this facility to include General, ENT, Orthopedic, Gynecological, Urological, and eye/cataract surgeries. Prepping and positioning of patient. Verifying all documentation of consents, H&P, side/site markings completed and correct prior to going to surgery,
