During my tenure in Charleston, I created engaging lesson plans to reach advanced learners (gifted learners), 57% of my students showed significant growth on MAP scores results from fall to spring testing. I attended workshops to further my knowledge in reaching gifted learners. I attended Converse University to obtain necessary credentials to meet South Carolina teaching standards for gifted learners (required by all teachers teaching gifted learners). I analyzed data to drive instruction and implemented the brand new EL Curriculum with significant success
During my time at SSCISD, I created engaging virtual lesson plans during COVID (50% rate of attendance).
