• Nutrition is taught daily during feedings as many different horses are on different plans and it is our job to advise what option best for them.
• Exercise physiology was also taught with weekly plans for conditioning horses based on their needs and discipline.

• Lameness physiology was taught daily with injured rehab horses and learning to build plans to bring them back and also being able to monitor and observe to learn basic diagnosis to communicate with outside veterinarians.
• Anatomy of horses from bone structure to tendons, ligaments, cartilage are taught daily as well.
• Opportunities to use some cutting edge equipment in our industry include: aquatread, incline treadmill, cold salt water spa, accuscope, red laser treatments, theraplate, wrapping, wound care etc.
