Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the myriad social justice issues plaguing our communities – from homelessness and gang violence to poverty and systemic injustice. These experiences ignited within me a deep-seated desire to address these pressing issues head-on and to contribute to positive change in any way I could. I firmly believe that by assuming the responsibilities of a first responder or peace officer, I can play a pivotal role in mitigating the impact of these injustices and fostering a more equitable society for all.
