Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering research: Nanomedicine. May 2017 – August 2018
- Development of Microfluidic samples to test the fluid flow on a micro level for nanomedicine.
- Developed a test medium for testing flow by using a 10:1 ratio of Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and Sylgard 184 Silicone Elastomer base.
- Created the flow marks with laser draw and used a scan electron microscope to take pictured and record the results.
Senior Design Project: Mobility Alert Shirt August 2017- May 2018
- Developed and designed a prototype Shirt for the elderly with sensors to track their long-term wellbeing and alert first responders in case of an emergency (fall).
- A microcontroller (FLORA) was used to process information received from the sensors and relay the information to a messaging system (FONA GSM+GPS) to call the emergency service in cases of emergency.
- Developed a proposal, ghant chart and wrote the code using Arduino.

- Wrote a research paper on the history and continues development of Mechanical heart valves, with two detailed recommendation papers between mechanical and bio prosthetic heart valves.
Title: Analysis of the History and Continuous Development of Artificial Mechanical Heart valves for treating Aortic and Mitral Stenosis.
