• As an IHSS provider, I was tasked with assisting my recipient with any tasks they requested of me while I was on the clock
• From getting groceries, to garden chores, simple house cleaning, medication delivery, preparation, and administration
• Transported clients to medical appointments or recreational activities.
• Assisted clients with prescribed exercises.
• Monitored vital signs and reported changes to the appropriate personnel.

I worked at the Johnny Rocket's location at the park. I mostly welcomed guests into the restaurant, worked the register, took orders, served food, and cleaned up after guests when they left. I also gained experience opening and closing the restaurant. Overall, working here gave me lots of experience in dealing with customers, following given directives, completing multiple tasks at once, and switching between multiple tasks when asked.

• While I was too young to actively get a job, I had been in marching band for 6 years and spent hundreds of hours gaining skills utilized in the workforce, like how to :
• Arrive at every practice/meet on time, with all relevant equipment, ready to learn/perform.
• Learn and/or memorize new skills or information on the spot.
• Cooperate, perform, and socialize with team members and non-team members to perform any task needed by the team.
• Adapt to new situations and perform to the best of abilities, especially in the case of the failure of a team member to complete set duties.
• Remain courteous and respectful above all to generate a positive experience for everyone, as all my actions reflect upon the band.

• During my time working at Taco Nazo, I learned how to:
• Grill different types of raw meats (beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, and fish)
• Assemble an assortment of meals (tacos, burritos, tortas, etc.)
• Work with only 1-3 coworkers to serve a whole floor of customers with a line often stretching outside the restaurant
• Properly communicate and coordinate with coworkers even though most spoke only Spanish
• Communicate with management to decrease the chances of any misunderstandings
