Summary
I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I fell in love with reading and the great outdoors at my grandparents cabin on the elk horn river. My avid passion for science was born in first grade when there was an astounding chemistry presentation. Ever since then there has been an almost constant consumption of information, by age five I had memorized the location of every library within a ten mile radius of my house. During my undergraduate career I had a hard time narrowing down a major because I was so interested in a little bit of everything to do with the Durham Science Center. I eventually settled on a major in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and Psychology. After graduation I have been working at Purdue University in their diagnostic histology lab. I have enjoyed my experience in the histolab but I am excited to continue learning and growing in a different work environment.
