Personal Trainer and Fitness coach

F45

  • As a fitness coach at F45, my job is not only to lead people through workouts and hold them accountable when it comes to their health, but also to mentor them when it comes to their lifestyle.
  • I work with a very diverse population, starting at the age of 13.
  • There are people with different mental and physical disabilities that we quickly adapt to and have specific plans for, so that everyone is welcome to workout with us.
  • As a trainer, my job is less about coaching the workouts and more about helping people maintain a positive mindset and improve their mental health through movement.
  • Motivated clients to reach their personal best by providing positive reinforcement.

  • Collaborated with other instructors and parents, to develop lessons plans that meet the needs of each student's level of ability.
  • Encouraged creative expression through improvisation exercises.

Triota Women’s Group
09.2020 - 12.2021
  • Group Overview: This group was a campus-run organization that focused on an activist project every semester.
  • The project I was most proud of participating in was the 'Take Back the Night March'.
  • This march created a safe space for all individuals to share their stories and experiences with sexual assault and harassment.
  • It was eye-opening to see how many people went through similar experiences, and it inspired my senior year capstone project.

Nanny/ Child Care

Private
01.2014 - 01.2018
  • I was a part time nanny to two children, one being diagnosed with ADHD.
  • Learning this 8-year-old child's boundaries and plans that worked and didn't work was a lot of working with the parents.
  • We implemented plans on what to do in certain situations while I was watching him.
  • Provided a safe environment for the children through supervision and guidance of their activities.
  • Developed positive relationships with each child by providing nurturing care.
  • Gave medication to children as directed by parents or guardians.
