As a volunteer and worker, I'm dedicated to my craft. I always come on time, or way earlier to avoid lateness. I am very good at multitasking - I am able to do multiple things at once with no stress. Im very friendly and outgoing, I could make small talk easily, and can make friends just as fast. I can work with multiple people in a group, often taking the lead or offering my own advice in certain situations or projects. I can also work by myself, I personally like working by myself a lot more. I am also very professional and know how to act in a professional setting, I remember that there is a time and place for everything. I am also very aware of everything, whether it be ,my surroundings or other culture. Overall, I am a very positive and respectful person that is looking to make some money.
Assisted the elderly in purchasing groceries at Wegmans. Given a budget 0f $50 and a list of about 14 items. The higher the item on the list, the more important it was. We had unlimited time to go through the store and buy the items. When we were finished, the organization payed for the groceries, and we were handed another list.
Collecting, sorting, and distributing books to classrooms and libraries. The books come in boxes, we take a stack and sort them into the many groups of books such as: pop up, science fiction, art and music, teen - adult, adult, chapter books, picture books, etc. Teachers come to pick and collect books distributed by volunteers.
I was a vender for the Annual Breast Cancer walk at Central Park. I handed out merch and souvenirs to people who came to the walk. This included a tote bag, bead necklaces, notepad, a pen, and a handkerchief. I vendered for about 4 hours before I went on the walk.
I was an alter server for 4 years. I was usually candle bearer, specifically on the right. I'd help with communion: washing the priests hands, preparing the alter, bringing communion to the alter, ringing the bells for communion, and cleaning the alter before closing the mass. I would occasionally be book bearer or cross, if I was forced to be, or if I was the oldest. The cross opens the mass, leading the other alter servers, and also leads communion. Book bearer holds up the book for the priest. I did this from 4th grade all the way to the beginning of 9th grade.
