Volunteer Firefighter of the Year 1993

In 1993 I was named the Howard County Volunteer Firefighter of the Year. I was nominated by the three career fire officers assigned to the fire house by my home. I was nominated not only due to my level of activity in responding to calls, but for always being enrolled in a training course.
