With over 17 years of experience in neurophysiology, I have gained valuable expertise in the field by working closely with supervising physicians. One of the highlights of my career has been the privilege of working with children in the operating room, a rare opportunity in most hospitals. Additionally, I spent nearly a year at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences under the leadership of Dr. J.D. Day, an accomplished skull base neurosurgeon. During this time, Dr. Day generously shared his techniques in a step-by-step fashion, greatly enhancing my understanding of neurosurgery. Another significant experience was monitoring spine deformity corrections for Dr. Richard McCarthy, who has developed innovative pediatric spine systems with remarkable outcomes, providing precious children with a chance at a better life. Ensuring patient safety throughout these challenging cases has been a privilege for me. In 2016, I joined Advanced Monitoring Services and have since expanded our neuromonitoring operations in the Central Arkansas Region. Leading a team of up to 17 technologists and leads, we manage all operations for a multi-facility hospital system neurodiagnostic department that includes: IOM, cEEG, EEG, and EMG. Lead a team to provide full service front to back monitoring for a level 4 Epilepsy Center for their epilepsy surgery program. Currently, I am responsible for overseeing operations, sales, customer relationships, contracts, P&L, and casting vision for my territory while executing leadership's objectives. Within the last two years my team launched an ambulatory EEG service line, which is now successfully servicing several major hospitals and clinics in the region and providing greater access to epilepsy monitoring resources to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
