Work History

TVA Regional Maintenance Services

TVA
07.2024 - Current

In July of 2024 I was selected to be apart of TVA Regional Maintenance Services. I really enjoy being apart of the outages at the different TVA Nuclear Plants, getting to learn the different aspects and employees at each site. I have had the opportunity to act as Foreman for Regional Maintenance at the Sequoyah and Watts Bar Plants during Outages and on various projects. I am dedicated to helping Regional Maintenance grow and continue to be successful by achieving safe, quality work in a timely manner.

Journeyman Pipefitter

Local 043 Plumbers and Steamfitters
06.2005 - Current

I have had the privilage to work many roles in our trade. I began my career as an Apprentice Welder working for Viking, Jake Marshall, and Acme. I spent most of my Apprenticeship at Jake Marshall working on a Service Truck where I became very competent in laying out for piping routes, and making x-ray welds on various metals. In 2012 I was given the privilage to be General Foreman for SGT at TVA on a Generator Change Out, and was the Primary Authorized Employee for all Small Bore Lockouts that where in place. In 2019 I was given the oppurtunity to take the OSHA 500 and 510 to become an Authorized OHSA Outreach Instructor, and became Site Safety Coordinator for Jake Marshall LLC. I am also one of the OSHA 30 instructors for the upcoming 1st Year Apprentices at Local 43. In 2020 I became one of the Local 43 Welding Instructors and have had great success with two of my students reaching the International Apprenticeship Competition in Ann Arbor, MI. During my time as the 3rd year Welding Instructor I became a Certified Weld Inspector and started the role of Quality Control at Wacker Chemical for Jake Marshall. I have devoloped great computer skills while tackling this job by creating Redline Drawings, Weld Maps, Torque Maps, and building Code Packages for Presure Vessels. Another task of mine as QC is to keep up with Welder Continuity and update the X-Ray Log for different percentages of x-rays shot for that particular job on each welder. As an Authorized Testing Representative for Local 43, I am authorized to give weld test and update all of Local 43's Welder Certifications Continuities. I am very passoinate in everything I do and put 110% toward being successful at every task.
