As a specialty department supervisor, I oversee apartments like kitchen and bath, appliances, millwork, flooring, and decor. Our main focus is assisting customers and sales. I am constantly coaching and developing my associates in their knowledge of what we sell as well as the process of creating quotes and following up with customers as well as vendors. I conduct regular employee evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and offering constructive feedback providing guidance on product knowledge to both employees and customers, enhancing overall shopping experience within the specialty department.

As a department supervisor, I oversee plumbing, electrical and garden departments.

My responsibility as a CXM was to make sure daily task are completed, and that the store runs smoothly while I assisting both associates and customers. On regular basis, I address any customer issues that may come up. I assist in coaching and developing associates as well as performing manager on duty responsibilities.

As a department supervisor for multiple departments, I ran the daily operations of each department and had one on ones with associates to help them grow with the company.

As a supervisor for receiving, I ran the daily operations of the department while assisting with unloading and loading trucks. Also responsible for keying in and detailing all merchandise from trucks.

• Wrapped pallets in plastic wrap and attached merchandise tags to prepare for shipping.
• Unloaded and stacked materials by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Built pallets and loads for partial and mixed pallets, wrapped finished pallets and staged pallets and loads into truck when ready for shipment.
• Worked with racking systems and loaded or unloaded pallets, pulling and placing pallets on or off of vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically.
