Skills

I have been working with energetic material for over 12 years I currently hold a DOE Q Clearance in my current position at Los Alamos National Laboratory My training, certifications, and work experience have provided me with fantastic opportunities to study and experiment with energetic materials, both from an analytical point of view and a practical application perspective I have vast knowledge and experience with various analytical instruments and processes including: HPLC for purity, Fourier Transform/Infrared (FT/IR) Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Thermo Gravimetric Analysis, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Surface Area-Pore Analyzer, Viscometer, Karl Fischer titrations, and colorimetric reagents I have been fortunate enough to attend an explosive handling course In Baton Rouge LA I also have substantial burning ground experience performing tests that include large scale gap test, plate dent test, setting up pressure wave sensors, setting up detonation velocity with fibrotic wires Also have experience pressing high energetic material from size to 15-inch pellets down to under ¼ inch and getting parameters to successfully hit densityundefined
