To me, laziness in IT is a virtue. Laziness, in the sense of automating tasks for efficiency, is highly valued. Whenever I encounter a repetitive task, I strive to create a streamlined, self-documenting, version-controlled, infrastructure as code process to ensure it's never done manually again. This proactive approach aids in process identification and change management, preventing 'shadow-IT' scenarios.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, my role is multifaceted. I manage deployment projects in Octopus, optimize pipeline processes, assist the release management team, and collaborate on infrastructure solutions with fellow engineers and developers. My extensive experience allows me to anticipate the repercussions of changes in our complex systems.

My mission at any organization is to leave it in a better state each day. Problem-solving, collaborative solution implementation, and enhancing existing processes bring me immense satisfaction. Whether it's solving a problem or introducing an innovative feature, making colleagues' lives easier is a rewarding aspect of my career.

My background equips me with the fundamentals of infrastructure management in on-premises and cloud environments like Microsoft Azure. I excel in server management, networking, containerization, and SaaS migration. My proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and Python continually enhances process efficiency and keeps me updated on emerging technologies.

Outside of work, I cherish quality time with my wife and our newborn son, engage in podcasting and video games, and improve our home together.
