Driven to contribute a conducive work place environment, throughout my volunteer work, I leveraged teamwork and collaboration during my help at the Animal Defense League of Texas, enhancing animal welfare and adoption processes. As a tutor at Providence Catholic High School, I honed my organizational skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail, significantly improving students' understanding in core subjects.
During my volunteer work at Animal Defense league I fostered animals that needed enrichment of growth both physical and mentally, especially for the process of adoption to be applicable. I ensured any animal fostered in my care received the proper nourishment needed including meeting the needs of medical conditions as well.
During my time volunteering I also attributed to on site volunteering as well. This included taking care of the animals in the shelter, keeping a clean environment, and answering questions any individual had regarding an animal.
My senior year of High School I volunteered to tutor students in need of help in certain subject, including math, sciences, and english. I met with students of lower grades and helped to asses and thoroughly advise in problem solving questions that any student had.
I, along with other volunteers arranged meals for children in the Head Start program. The collaboration of volunteers worked to meet the goal of organizing the necessary amount of meals. Worked efficiently and diligently to account for each meal package and the necessary food items that needed to be placed for each and all of meal packs.
