At Tiger Aquatics, I developed swimmers by writing two-hour practice plans daily, focusing on drills that build good technique and teaching them how to compete with each other in practice to foster improvement. I also assisted in managing meets that we hosted by setting up equipment, monitoring it during the meet, and taking everything down once the meet was over.
As the lead coach for my group, I consistently wrote and responded to emails from other coaches, parents, and athletes. I also had numerous face-to-face conversations with parents and others interested in joining the swim program.
Overall, I created a positive environment where swimmers could have fun, work hard, and learn to respect both me and their teammates.
