- Develop and maintain the Aircrew Training Program
- Ensure that aircrews operate to the highest level of safety and that all crew members maintain professional standards at all times.
- Supervise the screening, selecting and monitoring of pilot applicants.
- Evaluate flight operations providing feedback to pilots and operations supervisors in addition to taking corrective or developmental actions when required.
- Oversee all aircrew training assuring standard operating procedures are being adhered to for a team of 60 members.

- Coordinate and manage pilot scheduling and training.

- Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance for monitoring hours on aircraft until next aircraft inspection is due and other maintenance work is to be completed on each aircraft.
- Coordinate flight schedules to accommodate aircraft maintenance work.
- Assist maintenance in the evaluations, engineering and development of aircraft modifications and improvements.
- Manage the aircrew training and monitor status of crewmember qualifications.
- Monitor flight standards in accordance with Unit SOP.
