Seeking a part time job that pertains to my Business Management major while attending St. John Fisher University. I always try my best to be the most outgoing golf service attendant in an effort to elevate guest experience by offering the best service possible. I'm accustomed to working in a fast pace team environment or independently.
Helped run the course with many other baggers and rangers, performing daily tasks to prepare for regular golf outings or tournaments. Very comfortable interacting with golfers before and after their round ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to after their round. I worked between Shenandoah and Kaluhyat helping to manage 160 carts ensuring they were properly charged for the round and washed to get them flipped for remaining tee times. The weekends at the course get very hectic and busy which is what makes the shift go by fast and makes me love it that much more.
Worked at multiple city pools and the YMCA pool during the summer and winter. At the YMCA I would typically work alone in the pool taking care of things independently, building my independent working skills. At the outdoor city pools typically I'd work with other lifeguards which helped build my team working skills. Often selected to close the pool wherever I was working.
As my first job this was a great deal of responsibility. I was always busy ensuring the safety of the swimmers and protocol was always followed. I learned how to manage difficult situations and worked with all types of personalities. Overall this was a great experience and prepared me to move on to another life guarding job that was closer to home. I was required to carry CPR and waterfront certification.
