SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT OUTCOME FOR FACILITY.

As a clinical nurse leader, I initiated and led my organization in creating a formal orientation curriculum for new nurses and newly hired RNs. The orientation packet establishes guidelines, milestones and expectations that new nurses, preceptors and nurse mangers were to follow for the orientation of new employees. The developed document ensures the facility was in compliant with regulatory body expectation such as JCAHO.

RN EXTRACURRICULAR PARTICIPATION

Developed and presented an article on diabetes in geriatric populations. This article was presented to Southeast Georgia Health system for Med surge nurses in 2020.
