Monitored for same age peers to come in during their lunch period to spend time with the students in this classroom. They talked, played games, and built relationships during their time together. This project started with one peer who would come to visit and grew to over a dozen students in one quarter.

Cared for children in Special Education Classroom for students with moderate to severe disabilities. grades K-4, K-2 respectively. Meeting each student's individual personal needs, by assisting them with their activities of daily living. Building a relationship of trust with the students, by providing them with respectful and responsive caregiving. Work on goals implemented by the Special Education Teacher and Therapists. Preparation of materials and tools for students to use in the classroom. Creating materials that incorporated students' interests so as to motivate them when necessary. Monitoring and recording the progress of students' work toward meeting and achieving their goals.

Caring for children in a Special Education Life Skills Classroom for students with severe and profound disabilities, grades K-12. Meeting each student's individual personal needs, by caring for them in relation to their activities of daily living. Building a relationship of trust with the students by providing them respectful and responsive caregiving. Finding creative ways to provide sensory experiences for each of the students. Preparation of materials and tools for students to use in the classroom. Working with the Special Education Teacher to provide students with inclusive opportunities that were meaningful and purposeful to them. Work on goals implemented by the Special Education Teacher and Therapists. Monitoring and recording the progress of the students' work toward meeting and achieving their goals.

Responsible for overseeing a staff of 12 teachers/aides and the administrative staff, overseeing the Food Program, responsible for working to build and maintain relationships with the families and children in the program, responsible for working with the Board of Directors to oversee the program's finances and work with program budgets, responsible for fundraising, as well as, researching, writing of grants, overseeing the carry out of the grant requirements, responsible for teaching a few hours a week in each of the classrooms (ages 0-6), implementing an entire art program for the school and then working with all teaches, families, children, and the community to carry out the intent and vision of this program, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the entire school.
