- I was promoted to Operator Associate in June 2022. I run the production machines that make our products. When the machine malfunctions I determine if it is something that I can fix or if our process techs or maintenance will be needed to fix the problem. I oversee the packers on the line ensuring that they are inspecting the product and that the product meets production specifications. I conduct tests on the product throughout the day to ensure the product meets production specifications.
- I also inspect the rolls that the product is made from during the running process to insure that the material is within specifications for the product that we are making. I inspect product as it comes out of former before going into trim press to insure there are no holes or wrinkles in the product and if so adjust the oven temperature settings accordingly.
