15 Years 10 Months- Completed internship, transitioned to externship, and secured permanent position. I started as a “lpn” then after my state test they opened the position for “rn”. Served 10 years in ER, progressing to lead nurse. An opening was available, and I applied for charge nurse in the ICU. Scheduled shifts and corrected time entries for a staff of 24. Made sure and kept up the patient relations. Supported families compassionately during critical moments. I was also the direct “go between” for our nurses, aides and doctors.
