  • Demonstrated expertise in the Chinese languages, including fluency in speaking, reading, and listening. Effectively translated and analyzed a wide range of documents and media in Chinese to provide critical intelligence support to the DEA's Office of Special Intelligence.
  • Utilized advanced techniques and tools to extract actionable intelligence from various forms of media and documents in Chinese. Conducted thorough analysis, including content translation, cultural understanding, and identification of key insights, contributing to successful investigations and operations.
  • Applied strong analytical skills to assess and evaluate complex information obtained from Chinese-language sources. Conducted in-depth research, collected data, and synthesized findings to produce accurate and comprehensive intelligence reports, generates leads for law enforcement personnel to prosecute, aiding decision-making processes within the DEA and the US Army.

  • Participated as a Chinese Mandarin Interpreter/Translator in support of Exercise MPC; Taiwan, June 2024. Collaborating with and translating for senior multi-national Field Grade and General Officers to deliver and develop plans with the partner forces. Managed translating and interpreting General Officer briefings, ceremonies, and leadership small groups.
  • Facilitated the Bilateral Human Intelligence Partnership Program; worked directly with Republic of Korea Forces Intelligence Officers to develop and conduct training. Engaged in liaison activities to ensure communication between Coalition Forces, Republic of Korea Forces, and national agencies regarding Intelligence Operations.
  • Participated in a Human Intelligence mission acting as the Human Collection Team during Exercise Ready Dragon; Republic of Korea, November 2023. In conjunction with partnering forces, executed a Tier 1 training exercise and focused intelligence operations, analysis, and dissemination across the conflict continuum.
  • Participated in a real-world Human Intelligence mission, conducting strategic debriefing prior to and during Exercise Freedom Shield; Republic of Korea, August – September 2023. Produced over 10 high quality reports in support of the strategic debriefing program. Provided intelligence reporting that drove senior command decision making and command and control operations. Also, was able to use my Chinese skills to assist in an Exploitation mission while in a foreign country.
  • Conducts Human Intelligence operations in an urban/rural environment as a member of a Tactical Human Intelligence Team.
  • Prepares and submits Intelligence Information Reports and other reports dealing with the dissemination of Intelligence as per Regulation and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Briefs Commanders and peers on threat assessments as well as area of operation specific intelligence.
