To begin with until the pandemic I just rode the buses with children who had seizures or needed tube feeds started or ended on the bus.
In 2020 as special needs students went back to school, the Montco intermediate unit took me on. I started in a classroom with a girl who needed tube feeds and had seizures. i was there a year or 2 when i was moved to the transition program. Here I oversee the transition students. In September the Discovery Center opened and the majority of my students were transferred there. There were 2 students who specifically still needed me. 1 was transferred to Discovery and the other is aging out over Christmas vacation.
