I generally only work high-volume events at this property, as they have a very large on call staff list and are union, with prioritization given to full and part time colleagues. I tend to be assigned specific tasks such as roll ups or clearing. I have a great rapport with my fellow workers and am known to be prompt and helpful.

I work with my captains and fellow servers to help make sure all components of an event are successfully executed and clients are happy! Again, I am a hard worker and a team player.

I supervise banquet staff, organize staff assignments and lead preshift meetings so that everything gets done and everyone is clear about their role. I also am very hands on when captaining, working the floor as well as helping to keep things running smoothly back of house.

I collaborate with kitchen staff, going over BEO timelines, menus, meal service planning, food allergies, etc to help keep things running smoothly.

I maintain clear communication channels between all departments involved in banquets, including catering, sales staff, and clients themselves,making sure we are meeting client expectations, doing our best to accomodate last minute changes when possible, and simply keeping us all on the same page.

I am involved in all aspects of banqet execution, from set up, the event itself, to breakdown and clean up. I have a thorough understanding all steps and components involved in putting together a successful event! I am very adept at plated dinners, buffets, coffee stations, strolling dinners, beverage stations, etc. I am also a great team player and a very hard worker. I get along great with my coworkers and supervisors,and i am realiable, responsible and work with integrity.
