• Interpretation of waste management and transportation rules, regulations and policies to ensure proper compliance.
• Shipments of Radioactive material/waste in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Determination of packaging requirements, hazard classification, and proper shipping name.
• Preparation of manifests and associated shipping documents.
• Part 61 sample planning and analysis for updating waste streams.
• Initiate and maintain waste profiles for disposal facilities.
• Coordination of transportation logistics.
• Radiation Protection corrective action representative.

Responsibilities included:

• Provided Radioactive/Mixed Waste broker services to various commercial Nuclear Power plants during Refuel activities, ISFSI and special projects.
• Direction of Radiation Protection Technicians during various Refueling Outages.

Responsibilities included:
