Arresting Gear Technicians operate and maintain arresting gear and barricade equipment systems and work with pressurized hydraulic and pneumatic equipment utilizing both basic and precision tools. In addition, Arresting Gear Technicians perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, maintain the material condition of all assigned spaces, and perform record keeping. Catapult Technicians operate and maintain catapult equipment and systems and work with pressurized hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems utilizing both basic and precision tools.
