Dynamic and dedicated professional with a strong background in community engagement at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Proven leadership and organizational skills, successfully boosting donations through strategic fundraising events. Adept at fostering teamwork and collaboration, while providing exceptional support and mentorship to volunteers, enhancing community bonds and service delivery.
Since leaving Publix, I've continued my journey at North Carolina A&T as both a dedicated student and a student-athlete. One of the biggest reasons I chose A&T was the up-and-coming cheer team—I could see the vision for the program’s future, and I couldn’t wait to be part of it. Today, I’m honored to say that through leadership, teamwork, and relentless effort, my teammates and I made history by winning the 2024 National Championship title as the first HBCU to claim victory in the Small Intermediate Coed D1 division. That accomplishment alone is a story I’ll carry with pride for the rest of my life.
But I’m not stopping there. I’m continuing to cheer and working tirelessly to help bring back another National Championship for A&T, aiming to secure the program’s 16th title. Balancing academics and athletics is no small feat—it takes determination, resilience, and a commitment to excellence. As a leader on the team, I not only strive to maintain my own performance but also support my 29 teammates and our coach. I’m proud to say I’ve kept my GPA above the 2.0 average required to remain eligible for athletics while also fulfilling service hour requirements—rewarding opportunities that allow me to cheer on others both on and off the mat.
Beyond cheerleading and academics, I’m passionate about keeping my creativity alive. That’s why I launched my photography site, TIONTOOKIT—a platform that allows me to express myself and capture the beauty in those around me. I believe in showing up authentically and filling every room with positivity and fresh perspectives. Whether it’s through cheering, studying, or creating, I’m always ready to give my all and embrace every challenge that comes my way.
Looking ahead, I’m on track to graduate in Fall 2025, and I’m determined to keep making my mark at A&T—both on the mat and beyond.
