• Providing sustainment support for Endpoint Security System (ESS)/Host Based Security System (HBSS)

• Configure & validate secure system & physical controls; test security products & systems to detect security vulnerabilities.

• Deployment & administration of ePO, ESS/HBSS policy tuning Working with Trellix Endpoint Threat Prevention, Firewall, and Web Control.

• Conduct analyses of log files from a myriad of sources, to include individual host logs, network traffic logs, firewall logs, intrusion detection system logs, & aggregate Splunk data to identify & remediate possible threats to network security

  -Installation and support of Network Management System (NMS), a USCG SCI CANES variant of Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) on Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Networks.
  -Lead Installer of Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System-Maritime (CENTRIXS-M) now known as Collaboration At Sea Hosting Environment (CASHE)
  -Familiar with Automated Digital Network System (ADNS)
  -Installation and support of TACLANEs
  -Installation and support of VOIP phones.
  -Integration of Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE Increment E & F) and ICOP systems via HACSIMs
  -Support and Perform ADNS and NMS Readiness Assessments (RA)
  -Support and Perform ADNS and NMS System Operability Verification Tests (SOVT)
  -Duties include building, installation, troubleshooting and support via remote technical assistance and onboard technical assistance and CASREPs.

• Worked for the Navy’s PMW 160 Tactical Networks Software Support Activity (SSA) at SPAWAR Atlantic, performing duties as the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for Engineering Change request (ECR) for PMW 160 Programs of Record (POR) to include ISNS, SubLAN, CENTRIX, and SCI
• As well as Tactical Network Software Sustainment (TNSS) tasked with managing the vulnerability-mitigation process via patch development and testing through to Fleet Action Message (FAM) or Mandatory Security Update (MSU).

• For the Cyber Assurance Business Unit as part of the Computer Network Defense Afloat, In-Service Engineering Team (CND-ISEA)
• Provided all phases of support for fielded systems to include installation, configuration, troubleshooting of complex issues, and instruction on daily maintenance and usage
• Responsible for installation and ongoing distance & on-site support of Common Naval Defense Operating System Environment (CND-OSE) consisting of the Host Based Security System (HBSS), with a focus on ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), HBSS and how it interacts with MSSQL, Secure Configuration Compliance Validation Initiative (SCCVI) hosting the Retina network security and vulnerability scanner application, and next generation Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), via Nessus
• CNDOSE Lead for US Navy’s Technical Feedback Reporting (TFBR) to include creation and maintenance of Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs)
• Installation and ongoing distance & on-site support of Common Naval Defense Operating System Environment (CND-OSE) consisting of the Host Based Security System (HBSS) with a focus on ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) HBSS, MSSQL, Secure Configuration Compliance Validation Initiative (SCCVI) hosting the Retina network security and vulnerability scanner application, and next generation Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
