Sterilize surgical instruments, clean, dismantle trays during decontamination, assist OR personnel with locating instruments and/or sets for surgery.  Assist vendors with locating instruments.

Follow instructions for use by the manufacture on cleaning techniques for instruments, clearly communicate with co-workers about urgent needs and other information to insure patient health and safety.  Monitor biologicals.

     Assemble trays: orthopedic, laparoscopic, pediatric, ent, neuro, heart, cysto, dental, eye, robot, gyn, spine, arthroscopy, power instruments.  Wrap loaner trays for the next days case.  Restock impants used during surgery.  Work with Stryker, K2M, Synthes, Accumed, Biomet, Medtronic, Zimmer, Arthrex, Smith & Nephew.

Oversee co-workers schedule breaks / lunches.  Assist OR staff with locating instruments / trays before or during surgery.  Very fast pace environment, assemble trays, decontaminate soiled instruments, label shelves with proper instrument locations, keep track of what trays are to be turned over for which case and when.  Contact vendors when necessary .  Make sure vendor sets are brought in the day before a case is scheduled.  Ensure the vendor trays that leave have their instruments and not the facilities instruments.  Edit set count sheets.

Accept payments, check members into the facility, assist members with properly filling out various forms, closing procedures of the gym, manage three team members with day to day activities.
