  • My title as Maintenance technician has me doing a lot of computer hardware work as well as some software work and electrical engineering, I also am found to be doing a little bit of carpentry as well as wiring
  • I am responsible for upgrading multiple facilities across the state of southern Florida, I make my own schedule and follow it accordingly and normally liaise with third party companies in order to complete jobs that require foreign input due to programs bought from said third party companies
  • I host team meetings in order to find and prioritize any host of issues and usually have them completed within a work day with all supplies present
  • Communication is a must in this position and I hold it dear as I operate in my day to day workings as I am normally 'on-call' for any sudden emergencies that may arise
  • I've constructed and wired a working control room, fully enabled with TV's, Hardwired CCTV, multiple computers, IPad's and sound proofing for individual desk for everyone's individual task
  • I have installed multiple types of doors as well and learned small bits and pieces of HVAC

  • Though I started with customer service and general labor work with axe throwing I quickly found myself doing clerical work, engaging with customers on the phone and even making call backs to secure party packages and return customers
  • Later on I found myself repairing the games where needed which required a little knowledge in electrical work as well as maintaining the rooms too ensure a perfect customer visit
  • The technical side of coding was also a topic of the matter to make sure once a certain setting was met the game had a reaction
  • Upon opening of a new location I was first on site to train new managers and team members in the new games we had at the secondary location meaning I had to learn them myself first as well as take the knowledge I knew and bestow it upon those that would be working the location full time
  • I worked a number of hours from Afternoon to evening shifts, engaged with customers and learned valuable customer service skills as well as sales skills
  • I learned a little in the electrical and carpentry skill sets with some wood work involved
  • Finally I came to a close with my employment finishing up doing clerical work, watching finances and making sure the company continued to run in not one but two stores
