Undergraduate Project Experience
· Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hexacopter - Worked with a team in association with ATU to design and prototype an unmanned hydrogen drone (1 kilowatt fuel cell platform) (funded by grants from NASA and the Arkansas Department of Transportation). The resulting drone was capable of flight times of over two hours on a single tank.
· Shell Eco-Marathon Car - Worked with a team in association with the ATU Society of Automotive Engineers chapter to fabricate and optimize a single passenger, super-endurance gasoline vehicle for the purpose of competing in the national Shell Eco-Marathon, achieving a fuel economy of over 993 MPG (funded by ATU).
