Operations and maintenance included steam catapults, barricade systems, arresting gear, and associated equipment on shore and afloat. Catapult hydraulic systems, retraction engines, water brakes, and jet blast deflectors. As a work center supervisor, I quickly excelled as a leader of all 3M maintenance, and directly correlated the corrective actions of over two thousand maintenance actions with no quality assurance violations.
As a Security Reaction Force team member, I have held many positions. Positions such SRF team leader. As team leader of the SRF, I have been tasked with the physical security of all US Navy warships and executed various Identification Checkpoints required for all Military personnel
(E1-Admiral) to gain access to shipboard and shore base installations. Checkpoints include verification of government CAC card or Personal Identification Verification (PIV) equivalent. Accountable for conducting baggage and personnel searches In search of weapons, explosives, and all prohibited forms of contraband. Conducted RAM (Random Anti-terrorism Measures) operations.
