EFFECTIVE MANAGER. Supervised 13 sailors in the repair of 2,634 Aircraft Armament System assets and 30 aircraft gun systems. Resulting in a 97 percent ready-for-issue rate and a 14 percent reduction of workcenter backlog.

DETAIL ORIENTED. His attention to detail while managing the AAS program resulted in a grade of 98 percent during the 2020 Commander, Naval Air Forces Maintenance Program Assessment. As the All Weapons Inventory System (AWIS) Supervisor, he managed the day-to-day tracking and reporting of 1,202 pieces of AAS assets and 11 M61A1/A2 gun systems valued at more then $13 million in direct support of eight CVW-11 squadrons and the successful completion of 3,307 sorties during Exercise NORTHERN EDGE, TSTA FEP, and Group Sail.

SOUND MENTOR. Implemented a training plan that yielded 100 percent shop Enlisted Aviation Warfare designations, three collateral duty inspectors, and two advancements in rate. His guidance increased workcenter ordnance handling efficiency by 25 percent with the qualification of four team members, two team leaders , and one quality assurance safety observer.

EXCEPTIONAL LEADER. Led the production efforts of 32 Sailors assigned to the Navy's Largest Fleet Readiness Center in the completion of 11,580 maintenance actions on 8,637 Aircraft Armament System components. His superb efforts directly contributed to a 99.3 percent repair rate and a 33.1 percent reduction of backlog items within the Buffer management Tool.

PROACTIVE MANAGER. Coordinated extensive inventories of 4,486 assets of AAS and single hoist ordnance loading system gear valued at 4.3 million, ensuring 100 percent accountability.

INSIGHTFUL MENTOR. An extremely poised leader who displays genuine concern for his subordinates' personal and professional development. Responsible for training, guidance and qualification of eight Collateral Duty Inspectors, 10 advancements in rate, and the selection of seven Maintainers of the Month Awardees.

TEAM ORIENTED. Supervised the rehabilitation of four weapons magazines in preparation for CY 2014 INSURV, Ordnance Handling Safety Assistance Team, and Conventional Ordnance Safety Review inspections. Played an essential role in inspecting and supervising the repair of two magazine sprinkler groups for recertification of the ship's magazines.

RECOGNIZED EXPERT. As Quality Assurance / Safety Observer (QA/SO), he effectively led 27 Sailors through numerous ammunition onloads and offloads ensuring the safe handling , stowage , and fleet fleet sentencing of over 173 tons of conventional ordnance worth over 70 million dollars.

PROACTIVE WORKCENTER SUPERVISOR. Assisted 17 personnel in the completion of 2,871 3M maintenance actions consisting of 2,920 pieces of equipment to include six magazine sprinkler groups. HIs efforts contributed to a grade of 87 percent on the Administrative Effective Review and 91 percent on the Current Ship Maintenance Project review for the 3M Afloat Training Group 1.3 inspection.
