  • Perform concrete tests (ACI Certified) within KDOT, MoDOT, and Railroad concrete specs. Generate reports and legible records.
  • Perform checks on all raw material components and their locations that are placed in the product. Work with production employees to correct deficiencies prior to casting.
  • Perform post-production checks to make sure all products are cast per specs and labeled correctly before they are shipped to the job site.
  • Examine dry finished processes on the product for compliance with specifications, such as sandblast, water wash, etc. Prepare and distribute deficiency or rejection reports when appropriate. Conduct other quality and material tests as required, such as rock, sand, etc.
  • Perform the concrete cylinder compression test.
  • Well-versed in the production of bridge beams, deck panels, box beams, pile caps, box culverts, back walls, wing walls, etc.
  • Contact on-site contractors to schedule the shipment of the product. Gather necessary information, such as dates, the order of bridge spans to be placed, and the orientation of the pieces loaded on the trucks.
  • Create a load list with all pertinent information and send it over to trucking companies to schedule deliveries accordingly for the customer.
  • Visually inspect the product being placed into the construction of the bridge and roadways on-site.
