Work History

Pharmacist in Charge/Owner

Texas Road Pharmacy
Monroe, NJ
02.2003 - Current

Implemented a Point of Care Testing program for flu, strep, covid, as well as other CLIA waived tests; worked alongside Pegus Research as a Principal Investigator to explore bringing Lipitor, Advil 400, Flomax, Viagra, and Birth Control over the counter; personally gave over 40000 vaccinations during Covid including working with our Mayor to vaccinate the homebound; first independent pharmacy in NJ to receive a certificate to perform CLIA waived tests; built a state of the art compounding facility to work on my passions: veterinary, pediatric, and hormonal compounding, while educating pharmacy students on the value of compounding. I could add all the generic things that retail pharmacy owner operators do, but that's fluff. The truth is since 2003 I have opened 7 pharmacies, had four children, received my MBA, became certified in sterile and non sterile compounding, became a trainer for technician vaccinators with NPTA and a trainer for POCT with NCPA.

The truth is since 2003 I have opened 7 pharmacies, had four children, received my MBA, became certified in sterile and non sterile compounding, became a trainer for technician vaccinators with NPTA and a trainer for POCT with NCPA. I completed a fellowship with A4M and specialize in hormone replacement therapy. I serve on the Board of Trustees for IPA (Independent Pharmacy Alliance) and am Vice President for their Political Action Committee. I am an advocate for the pharmacy profession, having testified numerous times before NJ State Assembly Committees to advance our profession.
