Signalmen are responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing signals and crossings.

I was assigned to a Mobile crew, we installed the signal houses wiring, communication cable, rail joints, dragging equipment, crossing arms, guardrails, signs... all to railway standards this position required operating heavy equipment while maintaining a class A CDL license and annual safety rules qualifications.
