I am the Support Services Manager for the sterile processing department at the University of Utah Health Main hospital and Neuro Science building. As a level 1 trauma hospital, I ensure the department is able to provide around the clock service for the facility. Sterile processing services are provided for the operating rooms, labor and delivery, burn unit, emergency departments, clinics on and off campus and University of Utah research departments. In addition to over seeing day to day operations, I am in charge of future department planning, capital purchases, new sterile processing develop design team and chair of the Sterile Processing Operating Room Team committee.
