• Gathered essential information during high-stressed situations of an average of 150 callers daily and dispatched the appropriate first responders to the scene
• Operated a multi-line telephone system, alerting system, and TDD system for the deaf/hearing impaired in order to accurately translate emergency information to responders in 10-codes
• Determined and assigned the level of priority of the call and entered the data into a computer aided dispatch system (CAD), for medical dispatch and crisis services
