Selected as a member from the 5th largest school district in the country to collaborate with educators throughout Nevada to develop lessons, evaluate and assess lessons based on the EQuip Rubric for the Next Generation Science Standards that were newly adopted by the state for implementation.  Developed lessons and phenomena that will be distributed to teachers throughout the state of Nevada for use.

  • Ohio STEM Learning Network Teacher Academy (2023-2024)

Selected as a member of the Teacher Academy for the 2023-2024 school year cohort to develop a strong STEM culture in the K-12 classrooms and make connections with community members.  The focus of this cohort is to focus STEM culture and embed design thinking into everyday instruction and strengthen community partnerships to connect learning to local needs.
