Procedure Referral Scheduler
Intake of incoming referrals: look up patient to see if new or existing, verify contact information and update any changes to chart as needed. Load insurance and verify eligibility.
Follow referral process from start to finish, making calls to Patient in a timely manner and update Referring Physician of status of referral and scheduling status
Schedule Patients in appropriate Time/appointment slots while keeping Physicans schedules full
Send out Appropriate Patient material concerning Patients appointment time, date, location of appointment and any forms patient may need concerning Appointment
Work in a call Que, and handle incoming calls to assist Patient with any questions regarding scheduling, Preparation, Prescription and rescheduling needs
Transfer calls to appropriate staff for any questions or concerns they may have.
Complete tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager in a timely manner.
San in any documentation that comes in to Patients chart.
Front Desk Receptionist
Greet Patients as they come into office collect Forms and insurance and load/update chart. Collect any Copays/payments document receipt of payment and advise staff of arrival.
Make confirmation calls to Patients.
End of day collection settlement and deposit
Assist in Patient check out and scheduling of return visits needed.
Switchbord
Answer calls in timely fashion direct calls to Appropriate Staff/Department for Multi Office Practice
Take incoming Consults from Hospital and send to Physicians on call.
Physicans Call Schedule
Create weekly Physician call report for Physicians/APP’s/ office staff and for Hopitals of which Physician/APP’s is on call for which day/time and facility
Update schedule of any changes and report to On Call service Md’s, APP’s Switch board Staff and Hospital
