Currently pursuing a degree in Nursing at Parkland College and looking for job opportunities to broaden my experience in the healthcare setting or gain a valuable work ethic, or skills, that would benefit me greatly in my future career as a Registered Nurse. I have spent 3 semesters in the Nursing Program and gained skills that would be valuable when utilized in the healthcare or job setting for me to gain more hands-on experience outside of the nursing program. Developing these skills through the program helped me develop time management skills, the importance of good communication, and the value of professionalism in a work setting. Through shadowing opportunities, I was able to learn the importance of teamwork and the understating of roles in the workplace. I believe that determination the persistence a major factors that got me through nursing school and I will continue to apply them to opportunities to come in the future.
