Under licensed supervision:

• Provides weekly individual therapy for patients with mental health and substance use disorders in General and Intensive Outpatient services
• Conducts biopsychosocial assessments to inform treatment planning and referrals to outside entities for higher levels of care when appropriate
• Provides assessments, consultations, insurance progress reports and interventions for mental health concerns
• Formulates appropriate mental health diagnoses and treatment plans
• Assists clinical team staff members, and works with clients that present in crisis by providing crisis management, assessing safety, and creating safety plans
• Assists the clinical team during weekly day-treatment staff meetings in developing care management processes using evidence-based practice guidelines, disease management techniques, case management, and patient education to improve mental health care, engagement, and self-management of mental health needs
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of all clinical encounters in the clinic’s electronic health record
• Assures quality of care by adhering to evidence-based practice, therapeutic standards, and standards of care set by DOPL
• Assisted development staff in script writing and editing for 5 Minute Mental Health Subscription Videos (as intern)
• Co-Facilitated DV group therapy for court-ordered clients (as intern)
• Modalities: Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed Therapy, Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Teaching Interpersonal Skills, Mental Health and Neurodiversity Psychoeducation, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (only when appropriate).
